33 Tour

The 33 Tour was a concert tour performed by Luis Miguel during the years 2003 and 2004 to promote his last album 33. He sang 88 concerts during this tour of a duration about 95 minutes. Luis Miguel performed at Mexico's National Auditorium for 25 sold-out nights, as well as other prestigious international venues such as Plaza de Toros de Las Ventas in Spain and Estadio Velez Sarsfield in Argentina.
During this tour in Spain, the Prince Felipe of Spain presented him with a special award for being the best-selling foreign artist in the country's history, and hosted a special party in his honor in Madrid.
Luis Miguel sold an approximate total of 1,100,000 tickets.

33 Tour started in the United States at October 8, 2003 in Palm Desert, and then the tour ran by important cities like Las Vegas, Frenso, Los Angeles, Phoenix, El Paso and HIdalgo.
In November 2003, Luis Miguel gave more concerts to close the USA part of the tour, including concerts in Dallas, Houston, Chicago, New York City and Miami. Then the tour continue by South America giving 7 concerts, 3 of this shows at the Velez Sarsfield Stadium in Buenos Aires, Argentina and 3 in Chile.
In the start of 2004, Luis Miguel established a record of 25 consecutive concerts completely sold out in the National Auditorium in Mexico City. After that, he visited another 3 cities of Mexico (Guadalajara, Monterrey and Tijuana) plus a few cities of USA. The second leg ended in Veracruz, at March 12, 2004.
In September 2004, he returned from a long pause to perform in 7 cities of Spain, such as Madrid, Barcelona and Zaragoza. In October 2004, Luis Miguel visited several countries of Latin and South America, like Guatemala, El Salvador, Costa Rica, Panama, Colombia, Ecuador and Peru, where the tour ended.
This tour finished on October 30, 2004, just 8 days before the worldwide release of his next album, Mexico En La Piel.
